A little apprehensive about camping on an English site having spent most of our years camping in France, my family and I visited River Valley during the half-term holidays in May. Where we live in the Lake District many of the local sites are quite basic and poorly serviced in many ways (except the views). However, we found that River Valley is, without reservation, excellent in every department.”
