Porthluney Cove is privately owned and secluded. It has a large expanse of golden sand so is a great family choice. The beach is sheltered and south facing and sits in front of Caerhays Castle and Gardens. Porthluney is a good beach for swimming.
Beach games are well played here, the space is level and there is a wide expanse of sand at low tide. Porthluney is right in front of a car park (daily charge) and the cafe serves a great range of hot and cold food in summer. Toilet facilities are basic but well maintained.
