Dogs on beach – Seasonal dog ban in force from 1 March to 1 November.

Lifeguard service – There are no lifeguards but there are lifebuoys and an emergency telephone on the beach.

Distance from Site – 2.7 miles

Over half a mile of east-facing sandy beach. This is a great beach for swimming, surfing, windsurfing and canoeing. There is a slipway for sailing (canoes and dinghies available for hire from Cornwall Watersports). Car parking, cafes and toilets, including accessible facilities, are provided in Pentewan village 500 metres from the beach.
